Created to remember my father, Leroy, as well as share the love of hymns that he had as well as I have with the world, “Songs My Father Loved Vol. 1” was made in order to give listeners something for moments when there is a desire to worship without words. I played these in as simple of a take as possible, in hopes to give it a more organic ‘sitting in the next room’ feel and for the listener to experience a live experience.
